so I sewed strips together, then sliced and re-assembled...
and now I am stuck.
I have an idea of where I want to go, but keep coming up with new ways to get there, and none of them have been tempting enough to commit to.
..so I keep looking at this on the wall, for now.
One thing I do really like, is the uneven edges. I think I will keep those in the finished piece.
A RIVER RUNS THROUGH IT:
a continuous quilt made of 16x 20 segments with the Pamilco River as common to each piece for the Pamilco River Quilters Guild show in Sept.
My artquilt group challenge was to collect items in a two gallon bag.
This bag was passed to the participant/victim to make an art quilt [16-40 inches on each side].
This was the bag I recieved. Truly a WIP!
For the next step, I pulled more fabrics from my stash.
Next week we'll see where I'm going!
