MMQ-1

AQS is sponsoring a modern mystery quilt:

So I originally planned to use batiks with a robin's egg blue background, but decided instead to use the modern approach; white background with oranges and reds. [I don't remember when I last used a white background!] I did use an inspiration fabric to pull colors. Amazingly, it was not a batik. I don't remember buying it.

So here are my fabrics:

I may take out one of the skinny long orange ones and add another fat red block.

Beautiful fabrics!! I am printing the directions for this project. No time to do it now, but I am intrigued!!!
